Event Description

This year marks the 26th year that Hillcrest has hosted the major street fair known as CityFest. With a rich history of community and spirit, Hillcrest has much to celebrate. Games, activities, 250 vendors, live headliner music, a beer garden and much more, CityFest marks a major celebration of spirit and play each year in San Diego, California.
On Sunday, August 8, 2010, the sign will again be symbolicaly “relighted” for the 26th time. But not before thousands of San Diegans make their way to Hillcrest for a day full of dancing, eating, drinking, shopping, face-painting, lantern-making and general merrymaking.
