It’s coming! The 35th Annual NICKY AWARDS – San Diego’s Gay Academy Awards! August 26, 2010!

“By showcasing excellence in the community, the Nicky Awards serve as proof that every person has something important to contribute, that each of us can make a difference. This celebration is a tribute to the men and woman of San Diego’s LGBT community who work hard to improve the quality of life for all.”---Governor Gray Davis

The 2010 NICKY AWARDS will be held at the LGBT Center in Hillcrest on August 26, 2010. Some of the evenings talent includes the Platt Brothers from America’s Got Talent, Morgan McMichael’s from Ru Paul’s Drag Race, and Grammy Award Winner Rob Halford of Judas Priest will be honored this evening with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Beneficiaries for the evening are the NMR Student Scholarship, LGBT Center, and programs of the Imperial Court de San Diego, Inc.
