Special Guest Speaker:

SCOTT PETERS

Scott Peters is the immediate past Chairman of the San Diego Unified Port Commission, which manages the tidelands in and around San Diego Bay. The Port is a major economic engine for the region that produces $3.3 billion in economic impact and supports jobs for more than 40,000 San Diegans. 
Before he joined the Port, he was a San Diego City Councilman for 8 years, and was the City of San Diego’s first Council President, a position he was elected to by his colleagues three years in a row. Scott hopes to continue his service to San Diego by representing us in Washington. He is currently a candidate for Congress, running in the 52nd Congressional District.
