Toast to Hillcrest

Hillcrest's best restaurants, bars, bistros and coffee houses continue to be added to the Hillcrest History Guild's (HHG) fourth annual "Toast to Hillcrest" on Thursday, August 12 from 5:30 to 8pm.

New additions include: R Gang Eatery, Nami Sushi, Taste of Thai, Babycakes and Huapango's!

Enjoy "toasts" and "tastes" from Hillcrest's newest restaurants like Porkyland, Banana Leaf, Kona Coffee Company, La Focaccia Gourmet Pizza, Bo's Seafood, Buonissimo, Kip's Cafe and Gossip Grill along with our long time favorites City Deli, Urban Mo's, Golden Spoon, Baja Betty's, Kemo Sabe, Lalo's, #1 Fifth Avenue, Bombay, The Wine Lover, India Palace, Fiji Yogurt, The Loft and more. The list is growing daily.

Raise a glass to Hillcrest! This 21-and-over event features dozens of local cocktail lounges, restaurants, wine bars and pubs that offer up "toasts" (and/or tastes). Happy revelers will stroll the neighborhood. In addition, the fun-raiser provides a British double-decker bus (with your on-board hosts Ricky Cervantes and Benny Cartwright) to move participants throughout Hillcrest beginning at 5pm. The bus will continue to circle the area with revelers until 9pm - with complimentary coffee available on the upper level.

All proceeds from this annual fun-raiser will benefit the Hillcrest History Guild.
