Regarding our Speed Marketing Event

OK, I thought it was just me - I didn't see it either. I made sure I RSVP'ed on the GSDBA event.

I will get message him on fb.  He still hasn't answered my friend invite here (if you are reading this Jeff hint hint) so hopefully he will soon so that I can include him on messages here.

I just read back my messages with Jeff and he did ask about this and felt it would be better to just link to the GSDBA page on everyone's wall.  I have invited him to this thread - hopefully we can discuss this here.  Maybe it would be good to have both a facebook event and a link to the actual GSDBA page?

I wasn't able to create the event as a MAG admin so I created it under my personal profile. I'm not friends with everyone in the group so please share this with everyone so we can each post it on our respective walls. Facebook isn't letting me copy-paste the URL for the event for some reason, but you can find it if you go to my profile http://facebook.com/jeffunderwood1979 and click on my Events tab.

Jeff that is strange that you couldn't create an event as GSDBAMAG admin.  I was able to do it ok ... if any of the other admins can see if something is wrong with Jeff's permissions it would be appreciated to let us know.  (They all look the same to me.) I know it is a little messy having 2, but I created the event on the GSDBAMAG FB page.  I hate having a duplicate, but I think it is probably important that the event live under GSDBAMAG. So anyway I went ahead and made the "executive" decision to create it - I hope that is ok with all.  The original event has already been shared by people (including myself) so it is best not to delete it.  If someone feels strongly that we shouldn't have 2 listings for this event let me know.  (And obviously the goal is to not do this again.)

 

Should we also have our monthly affinity meetings as FB events?

Good decision. :-)

 

I think it would be good to post the meetings as events. It shows that we are active. (We can always add a caveat that these meetings are open to GSDBA members only.)
