The GSDBA has launched the Young Professionals Affinity group to help groom and foster the next generation of young professionals into seasoned and mature leaders who are looked at to take the organization or department to the next level.
Come network with other professionals and find out how they turned themselves into a respected professional in their organization. Set yourself apart from others in your organization and earn that promotion or company recognition that you deserve.
Some of the topics to be explored at the group meetings:
-How to turn yourself from a young professional into a mature professional
-How to have a conversation with or present an idea to the CEO of a large corporation
Free To All GSDBA Members
The Affinity for Business Groups program is designed to provide professional development for members in the same or related professions. The focus is to support one another within a specific professional field and to help participants bring their businesses to a new level. The groups meet once a month. The format of each group is decided by the group and includes significant time for the exchange of ideas and information. Groups include guest speakers and/or group member presentations on topics of interest. Affinity Groups are free to GSDBA members.

Comment by Jeffrey Harding on March 24, 2011 at 3:39pm The age limit should be 35. :P Why call it a young professionals group if there is no age limit? It's hard to talk about building an internet marketing strategy with people who don't even use outlook to manage contacts because they prefer their "contact book."
