After decades of working in dentistry, in 2013 Linda M Turner segued into Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy.
Prior to this, she herself had been treated with OMT for myofunctional disorders and was now able to stop using her CPAP machine and no longer needed to wear a splint for bruxism.
She also found she was often seeing patients in her dental chair suffering with TMJ pain & popping, Clenching and Grinding, Snoring and Sleep Apnea, Mouth Breathing, Body and Facial Asymmetry and Orthodontic Relapse. They had tried other therapies but were unable to get relief and/or permanent results. She decided to go to Los Angeles to the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy to become a myofunctional therapist in order to help others to get the help she received from OMT.
