GSDBA Presents John R. McCusker Memorial Golf Classic

The Greater San Diego Business Association will hold its annual John R. McCusker Golf Classic at noon, Oct. 19, at Riverwalk Golf Course in Mission Valley. The event is named in honor of former GSDBA board member and community activist John R. McCusker, who passed away in early 2005. Half of the net proceeds will benefit the San Diego LGBT Community Center’s Youth Housing Project.

Participants can swing into action with a full day of golf while enjoying food and opportunities to "network on the greens" with other business owners and their guests. This year’s presenting sponsor is ROK Enterprises, along with co-sponsors Point Loma Credit Union, Ben & Jerry’s/Second Chance, Gayle Goldman Associates, Annie Libby Photography, Allsure Insurance, SD PIX, First American Title, Buzz Magazine and KPBS.

"Nearly 80 business owners turned out for the event last year," says GSDBA Executive Director Joyce Marieb. "It’s a day of fun and business -- and for a worthy cause."
