GSDBA Endorses Proposed Health Care Bill

The Greater San Diego Business Association’s board of directors recently passed a motion endorsing the Affordable Health Care for America Act (HR3962), which was passed by the House and Senate, but remains in political debate until finalized. A conference committee is currently negotiating compromises to the bill, after which a revised version will be sent to both houses of Congress for final sanction.

The 2010 Cenus and the LGBT Community

The 2010 Census greatly affects the LGBT community. After months of hard work, the partnership team has created a series of documents that explain the Census, how same-sex couples will be counted, how transgender people should fill out the form, and so forth. Additionally,some templates were developed for sharing the Census message with your colleagues, clients, constituents, family, friends, and so forth, utilizing social networking tools like Facebook and Twitter.
