A Nice Time At Old Bamboo

Had a nice visit with the Marketing Affinity Group tonight. The staff at Bamboo as always were great and a lot of the group members had some exciting ideas. Everyone one agreed that we aren't using this website as much as we could be so I guess there is nothing stopping any of us from taking the plunge so here I am. Who knows, maybe I will learn to love Ning (the platform this website exists on.)

U.S. military now accepting openly gay applicants

Military recruiters have been told by the Pentagon that they must

accept applicants who identify as gay or lesbian while a federal court

judge’s ruling suspending the “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policy is

appealed, according to the Associated Press.

CITY COUNCIL PASSES EQUAL BENEFITS ORDINANCE

The SBA Has Announced Full Implementation of the Women’s Procurement Program

The Women’s Procurement Program will allow contracting officers the ability to restrict competition to women‐owned small businesses (WOSBs) if the procurement falls within one of the eighty‐three (83) North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes. NGLCC Declares Major Victory with Signing of Small Business Jobs Act
