How a One-dollar Effort Generated a $200+ Sale

The words "thank you" are often tossed around insincerely as a required statement at the end of a sales transaction. However, when used properly, a (seemingly) sincere thank you can make a lasting impression and possibly generate increased sales.

Find out how a simple thank-you card – which probably cost less than a dollar, including postage – turned a one-time sale into a repeat customer and generated over $200 in sales and the potential for future sales.

Another great post Amy and this is so true.   Even though I make no secret about my love of data feeds and automation - nothing stands out more than a personalized touch.  Handwritten "Thank You" cards are a really nice touch.  In this day an age, the act of using an antiquated physical data delivery system (what's it called again?  oh yeah - mail) is not only quaint but in this context down right bold.  When I am doing business with an "entity", be it a shoe store or a bank or whatever -  I always feel better when I am reminded that I am dealing with real people.  Nothing breaks through the digital noise better than a real human voice.
